Conclusions
The unifying theme of Brian’s Christmas card is loss and its companion, nostalgia. There is poor dead Drummond in heaven, carrying a bag from the defunct Bon Marche, which contains a (to Brian) lost classic which is now only a memory.
It’s a bittersweet card and I busted out laughing when I got it.
